Cloud Computing:

Cloud computing is a technology that allows individuals and organizations to access and store data, applications, and services over the internet, rather than on local hardware like personal computers or physical servers.
In a cloud computing environment, resources such as computing power, storage, and networking are provided as services by cloud providers (like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) and can be accessed on demand. These resources are typically hosted in large data centers and can be scaled up or down based on the user’s needs, which makes cloud computing highly flexible and cost-efficient.


There are three primary types of cloud computing services:

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Provides virtualized computing resources over the internet, such as virtual machines, storage, and networks. Users manage the operating system, applications, and data while the cloud provider manages the underlying infrastructure.
Platform as a Service (PaaS): Offers a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage applications without dealing with the complexity of building and maintaining the underlying infrastructure.
Software as a Service (SaaS): Delivers software applications over the internet, which are hosted and managed by a cloud service provider. Users can access these applications through a web browser without worrying about the underlying infrastructure or application management.

Cloud computing offers benefits such as reduced IT costs, scalability, accessibility, disaster recovery, and security. It also supports modern approaches like DevOps, big data analytics, and artificial intelligence by providing the necessary resources and infrastructure.
